50 Resources for Designing a Lifestyle of Faith

50 Christian Lifestyle of Faith Resources christian Blogs Christian Podcasts Christian Millennial Blogs MRSdesigns.net.jpg

There are so many great resources out there for a Christian who is working hard every day to design and live a lifestyle of faith. There's a massive online community of Children of God on the journey of designing a faith lifestyle and we need each other! I've put together a must-have list of terrific Christian Faith Lifestyle Blogs, Christian Faith Podcasts and more! While this is by far not an exhausted list, it is a list of resources worth your time...you will come away changed! Please also note that this is not a list exclusively for women it's for men too! While I'm at it...it also encompasses a wide age range from college to beyond retirement. Let's jump right in.

As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. Proverbs 27:17

Lifestyle blogs are probably my favorite type of blog that I like to consistantly go to...if ever I get close to actually being consistent. That may be debatable for other people, but for me I'm trying to overcome this "Sunday Christian" mentality that haunts so many of us and live my faith every day the same way. For me, that includes my home, my job, my family, my friends and all the things that I find myself involved in throughout the week. I want everything about myself to ooze Jesus! Three main reasons why I've chosen the resources that are on this list. One, they love Jesus. Two, I come away changed...for the better and three, their websites are lovely to look at :) not necessarily important to everyone, but for me, my attention gets distracted by poor design...just bein' real, my friend. Oh, and as a bonus I've included links to either their Instagram or Facebook and Pinterest profiles...why? because those are the one's I like best...they have other profiles you can connect via their websites.

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. Ephesians 5:1

It is impossible to listen to all of these podcasts, and I don’t listen to all of them regularly, I do try to squeeze one in here and there as much as I can. I hope you find something here that will bless you and grow you in your faith and equip you to live out your lifestyle of faith in a bold new way!

The Happy Hour – Jamie Ivey. Just like she says, it's like sitting around a table with girlfriends.

Harvest Church - Greg Laurie, Senior Pastor at Harvest Church in Riverside, California. I’ve listened to his podcasts off and on over the past several years.

The Porch – Tuesday night church in Dallas, Texas aimed at twenty and thirty somethings. I don’t fit that age category, but still enjoy the messages!

Knowing Faith – The Village Church in Dallas, Texas. We’ve had the opportunity to visit this church and hear Matt Chandler preach. While his sermons aren’t the only available, I probably enjoy his the most. I’ve listened to Village sermons many times and enjoy them everytime!

Passion City Church - Louie Giglio, Senior Pastor at Passion City Church in Atlanta, Georgia. Good good stuff for growing in your faith.

The Grit and Grace Project - I thoroughly enjoy these two women!!!

That Sounds Fun – Annie Downs. I love the description of her on her about page, "[She]...highlights the everyday goodness of a real and present God."

The Next Right Thing – Emily Freeman. I'm so drawn in by her intro..."if you're struggling from decision fatigue."

The Open Door Sisterhood – Shauna Niequist. "Talking issues through like you would with your sister." And it is just like she says it is.

For the Love – Jen Hatmaker. I could so easily be Jen's friend. This sentence looks funny to me because my best girlfriend I've ever had in my entire life, her name is Jen.

The RobCast - Rob Bell

The Liturgist

Bethel Church - In Redding, California...good stuff...good music!

Relevant - Discussions on news, faith, culture and more.

Heidi St. John - Like sitting at the table with a cup of your favorite coffee and chatting with a close friend.

Mary Demuth - She loves Jesus, period.

Sarah Cunningham - With a couple of seasons of podcasts under her belt, this one truly is a jewel.

Building a Story Brand - Donald Miller - I’ve read his book Blue Like Jazz and even saw the movie based on this book. While I’ve not read Building a Story Brand…I will be soon! . He helps entrepreneurs clarify their message.
